Adam Katz Sinding visited Tokyo and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO 2015-16 A/W for the first time this March with the support of ANA. He has always wanted to come to Tokyo and shoot with his camera the street fashion of Tokyo, so we had a short interview with him. Adam was born in San Francisco and grew up in Seattle and Paris. He now lives in New York and shoots as a photographer for style.com during many fashion weeks all over the world. His website Le 21ème is very popular among fashionistas and has many followers on Instagram and Facebook with the photos from the fashion weeks. We asked the fashion week run-arounding man about how the street fashion of Tokyo looks through his eyes, and about our fashion week.

How was the impression on TOKYO street fashion?

Tokyo street fashion is some of the best in the world.  Completely unique and 100% eclectic.  The entire world looks to the Tokyo streets for inspiration on innovation.  Tokyo street style breaks the rules, and it does so in a perfect way!

How was the impression on Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO runways?

I really enjoyed my time at MBFW Tokyo!  The shows were great.  Very different than what you see in New York.  My favorite was Christian Dada‘s first womens collection.  An awesome portrayal of Rock and Roll.  I had a great time watching all of the shows while I was there.

How was ANA flight services?

My experience flying from Seattle to Tokyo on ANA was perfect.  The 787 Dreamliner had everything available to make my trip comfortable and allow me to relax.  The food was exceptional, and the service was beyond expected.  I have told many of my friends who travel as much as I do about how amazing my experience on ANA was!
