Brand information / About the designer
―What inspired you to become a fashion designer? Describe developments leading up to the brand launch.
I admired Alexander McQueen and Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy, so I went to a fashion school. Later, while working as an embroidery artist and costume designer, I was approached by Patchworks and started my own collection brand.
―What is the brand’s concept? What do you want to communicate through fashion designing?
The brand concept is: “May you encounter your inner self that you have not yet seen. The brand concept is “May you find yourself inside of you.
―What is your source of inspiration in creating fashion? What is your process of developing a design concept?
I’m thinking about mixing the embroidery techniques I’m interested in with my current mood.
―Who are your current stockists (areas, retail formats, etc.)? Describe the typical followers of your brand.
We don’t do wholesale, and I think the fans of our brand are people who like things that make them flutter.
―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?

About 2022 A/W collection
―Why have you chosen Tokyo (Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO) as the venue for presenting your collection?
The presentation of the look photos gave me the feeling of expressing myself with dots, and I wanted to express myself with lines.
―What is the concept / image for your brand’s 2022 A/W season?

I’m still trying to decide, but if I’m not sure, I’ll choose the dramatic one.

I don’t keep a lot of stock, but sell almost all of my products by order, and try to make only what I need.
