―Who are your current stockists (areas, retail formats, etc.)? Describe the typical followers of your brand.

The clothes made by RequaL≡ are really complicated. But we have been able to deliver our creation with the support of an unimaginable number of people.

So we don’t make a lot of them. Therefore, the price will be high.

Even so, we think that our fans want to wear them. Because they have creativity in high-purity fashion

The current wholesalers are Wallace & Murron, who is the first wholesaler in western Japan and we have a close relationship with the buyer. And WAGAMAMA TOKYO, where we also propose

exclusive items.

―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?

The first one is calligraphy.

The spirit of “”road”” (calligraphy in japanese is 書道, SHODŌ, 書 SHO means “to write” and 道 DŌ means “road”) has a unique Japanese aesthetic sense. It is very difficult to keep walking on the same road. It may seem that you are just continuing, so if you continue to draw calligraphy, you will notice that at one point you were writing white in the margin even though you were writing with black ink.

I think that fashion has a common sense of values, such as imitating a model = imitating = learning.

When it comes to fashion, my role model is Janne Da Arc, a japanese visual kei rock band’s vocalist, yasu.

Because he made me feel that men are so beautiful!‼️ I remember that I had that excitement-like emotion in elementary school and also at Coconogaco.

I think that things related to fashion and design are so confusing that they are influenced every day and are out of control. I think the atmosphere of the entire era also corresponds to a transitional period.

About TOKYO

―What does Tokyo represent for you?

A city where things’ desire and desired things are mixed

―Which parts / sites of Tokyo do you like most? Why?

Public bath

―What are your favorite / recommended shops (of any genres, e.g. fashion stores, homeware stores, food services), facilities and sites?

It’s a gourmet spot, Ramen Fujimaru Toden Kajiwara.

The heavy sharpness of the maple that rushes to the heavens, the unique texture and umami of Kuta vegetables that can be tossed in the mouth, and the pork that sits in the bowl will be served with a little oil of garlic. There is a service that you can add pork dregs abra or raw eggs by halving the noodles, but if you order raw eggs, make beaten eggs and dip the pork dregs abra (pickled in fat in soy sauce) and enjoy it. Definitely my favorite delicious place.
