As a textile designer, I have incorporated fashion design into my years of experience, expressing everything I do.

The image of a person is someone who has a natural strength that comes from the inner self.

I often use contemporary art and modern architecture, which I have loved since I was a student, as a source of inspiration, and link them to textiles in my work.

Select stores in Tokyo and throughout Japan, and overseas in New York, Ukraine, Shanghai, Beijing, and South Korea.

―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?

Increment Design (Architect Alejandro Aravena) I was impressed by the concept of leaving the details to the family who will live there after the building is completed, and I came to think that I would like my clothes to be like that.

About efforts for SDGs

―Please tell us about your brand and personal efforts and challenges regarding SDGs.

We have been creating designs (connected lines that can be connected by strings over the seasons) for more than two years now, with an awareness of sustainable fashion, based on the idea that we want people to cherish and enjoy wearing our clothes for as long as possible. We have also taken on the challenge of transforming materials and yarns left over from the past into upgraded materials based on the knowledge I have cultivated as a textile designer. We are also eagerly taking on the challenge of developing environmentally friendly fibers.
