MBFWT 2012 S/S | Release of key visual
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO has welcomed Kaie Murakami as its first Key Visual Creative Director, and formed a team of Japan’s top creators to produce the key visual that represents today’s Tokyo fashion.
Key Visual concept
Fusion of Japan’s traditional stylized beauty characterized with static-ness and symmetry, with the pop, graphical and modern image that the city of Tokyo presents. The key phrase is “No Rules”. The key visual is an extreme presentation of the free and energetic mix of styles, which defines today’s Tokyo fashion scene, led by Japanese brands that are well- known among worldwide.
