Brand information / About the designer

―What inspired you to become a fashion designer? Describe developments leading up to the brand launch.

Becoming a designer is a surprising thing in my life.My childhood dream was to work in fashion business. Early on, I represented various brands, and in my impression, at one brand-only store event, I decided to design event products and made simple clothes, and the result was pretty good. .. That was the beginning of my designer career.

―What is the brand’s concept? What do you want to communicate through fashion designing?

Menswear that is easy to wear in your life, has a strong personal style, and has a sense of street rebellion.

―What is your source of inspiration in creating fashion? What is your process of developing a design concept?

Inspire myself and design the clothes I want to wear.And I like to wear clothes that are different from others.

―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?

I was influenced by the street culture of Ura-Harajuku from a young age, and many people worshiped at that time, mainly doing graffiti and doing streetwear brands.

About 2022 S/S collection

―Why have you chosen Tokyo (Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO) as the venue for presenting your collection?

It is my hope that I can see my brand in Japan. Especially now, due to the influence of corona, I think it is more necessary to have energy and expect the future in a difficult time.

―What is the concept / image for your brand’s 2022 S/S season?

Incorporate medieval herbal illustrations this season.

―What is your vision for your show / installation?

The story of the city and dreams.

Future

―What are your brand’s future outlook and goal?

We want more people to know our brand. Also I want to make a movie about the brand, and a show that is different from the usual one.

About TOKYO

―What does Tokyo represent for you?

Beautiful city, vibrant place.

―Which parts / sites of Tokyo do you like most? Why?

I like everywhere in Japan, from the city to the countryside. Having lived in Azabujuban for a while, I like walking from the shopping street to Tsutaya in HILLS. Especially during Christmas, the beauty of the illuminations on both sides left a deep impression.

―What are your favorite / recommended shops (of any genres, e.g. fashion stores, homeware stores, food services), facilities and sites?

I like to find a store that is recommended for locals. Speaking of food, I especially like Tsukemen and Soba. (Soba seems to be for elder person… lol)
