―What inspired you to become a fashion designer? Describe developments leading up to the brand launch.

I became a fashion designer after experiencing the Ura-Harajuku scene and wanted to take advantage of my career and experience as a costume designer and try to make ready-to-wear clothes so I established FORSOMEONE.

―What is the brand’s concept? What do you want to communicate through fashion designing?

FORSOMEONE is based on the concept of “NEW LEGACY” and modernizes past culture movements and vintage items. The design is inspired by men and women who are independent.

―What is your source of inspiration in creating fashion? What is your process of developing a design concept?

The collection is inspired by vintage items, movies and music.
