Brand information / About the designer

―What inspired you to become a fashion designer? Describe developments leading up to the brand launch.

Through years of multiple experiences in my career as a textile designer, I have been slowly absorbing senses as a fashion designer and that led me to express the whole thing voluntary.

―What is the brand’s concept? What do you want to communicate through fashion designing?

Our muse: women with effortless energy that flowingly comes from inside her.

―What is your source of inspiration in creating fashion? What is your process of developing a design concept?

I often find my inspirations from modern arts and contemporary architectures, which I have been obsessed with since my student ages. And I make connecting dots between those and textiles for my creation.

―Who are your current stockists (areas, retail formats, etc.)? Describe the typical followers of your brand.

Not only limited to Tokyo but all over Japan, alongside NY, Paris, London, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Shanghai, Beijing and Korea.

―Which brands, designers, styles and cultures have had the most impact on your fashion designing, and why?

I was profoundly struck by a concept of the incremental design led by an architect Alejandro Aravena -delivers self-managed production, so I design for wearer to make decisions on details of clothes.
