“Asian Fashion Meets TOKYO” (12:30〜 at Shibuya Hikarie Hikarie Hall A)
Until last fiscal year, this was a technological cooperation training program, operated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, Cool Japan Policy Division in cooperation with Technological Cooperation Division. This fiscal year, each MOU partner will hold it on its own. This time, the Philippines participated (MOU partner: BENCH group)
“NON TOKYO” (11:30~), “BODYSONG.” (15:00~), “BALMUNG” (18:30~) held their presentations as Parco’s new incubation project “NEXT AGE PARCO”.
“NEXT AGE PARCO” is a project aimed at the “digging up and supporting of up and coming Japanese designers”. In “Designers POPUP by Metro TOKYO”, a total of 8 brands, including the 3 brands mentioned above, is holding a POP-UP shop at Shibuya PARCO. In this project, PARCO will be producing Tokyo Metropolitan’s up and coming designers support program, giving support to eager, talented designers active mainly in the Tokyo area, until the end of March, 2020.
