Show Categories from 2026 S/S collection

As the global fashion industry continues to shift back toward physical presentations—and precisely because we live in a time saturated with digital content—JFWO has decided that, beginning with the 2026 S/S season, only brands presenting in a physical format will be included in the official schedule.
In past seasons, both solo brand shows and shows organized by national bodies were presented alongside each other. Going forward, we will define solo runway shows by individual brands as “Official Designer Shows,” representing the core of Fashion Week. Shows hosted by national organizations or featured as part of affiliated events by professional designers and brands will be recognized as “Partnership Shows.”
By clearly defining these categories, we aim to clarify the significance of each type of show and solidify our role as a platform for organizing Fashion Week.
In addition, shows presented by students or school-based organizations—the next generation of the fashion industry—will continue to be supported as “Incubation Shows” within our affiliate event programming.
