Of the brands which were scheduled to participate in RakutenFWT 2020 A/W if there was any brand in particular which you were interested in or looking forward to seeing, please tell us.

I’m sorry they are not participating brands, but the eye-wear brand “BLANC” whom I collaborated with in 2020 A/W, and the bag brand “beta post”.

In your opinion, what is the originality, uniqueness of Japanese brands/fashion, and/or what is it that makes Japanese brands/fashion interesting?

Regardless of Japanese brands or overseas brands, I think interesting brands are interesting.

What is the most important topic in fashion, between the 2000’s ~ 2010’s?

The rise of online stores

How do you think the fashion industry will become in the 2020’s?

The awareness towards sustainability will rise even higher. I think, issues such as eliminating waste and reuse will become a global effort, over the next 20 to 30 years.

Is there anything you hope for or expect in future RakutenFWT?

I am a heavy user of Rakuten’s “okaimono Panda” LINE stamp, so I’m hoping for a fashion week version (would be even happier if it’s for free)

Please tell us your favorite or ‘must go’ suggestive spots in Tokyo.

There are many hanami (cherry blossom viewing) spots in Tokyo, and all are recommended. Yoyogi Park of course is beautiful, but Kinuta Park near my home is really nice, too.
