20th Anniversary Special: Launch of Original Podcast Series in Collaboration with Culture Media Platform “Artistspoken”
In celebration of JFW’s 20th anniversary, we will launch a series of ongoing content programming through the 2026 A/W season in March next year. This initiative, which will extend beyond owned media, will include a podcast series featuring diverse voices sharing their perspectives on the joys of fashion, as well as the publication of original content, including features and interviews conducted during Fashion Week.

To mark the 20th anniversary of Japan Fashion Week, a new original podcast, RE;MODE_ROOM 20, will launch in partnership with the cultural media outlet Artist Spoken. Reflecting on twenty years of Japan Fashion Week, this program retraces its history—the countless styles and unheard voices—in the form of a “storytelling room” that connects past, present, and future to “re;mode” Tokyo fashion. Serving as the program’s navigators (to be confirmed) are Mitorizu Lily and First Summer Uika, who will each offer their unique perspectives on Tokyo Fashion Week, past and future. The first episode will debut during the week of August 25, just ahead of the new season. New episodes will continue through March next year, featuring a diverse lineup of guests ranging from celebrated designers and industry insiders to behind-the-scenes players who bring runway shows to life. Through intimate conversation, the podcast will give voice to those confronting fashion’s questions and crafting its next chapter. Further details will be announced in an upcoming release.
Official Rakuten FWT Photography Team Launches Street Snap Reel Project
Starting this season, Rakuten FWT will debut its official photography team dedicated to capturing the dynamic fashion scene at various locations throughout the event period. From an exclusive look behind-the-scenes at runway shows to candid street style snapshots that reflect the mood of Tokyo today, the content will be shared via Rakuten FWT’s official social media channels and YouTube. If you spot the official photography team during the 2026 S/S season, we warmly invite you to step in front of the camera!
